DFI Session 3 - Media
Creativity is something I deeply value. I have grown up in an extremely creative whanau and am a creative myself. Having the chance to connect with and practice the CREATE part of the Manaiakalani kaupapa was so much fun!
I loved using Google slides for something other than presentations! I have learnt to create an app using slides that can allow my students to navigate one of their lessons. I can see how this could become an exciting way for students to present their learning, and as a beginners step to app creation. I would love to see how this also could become a way of akonga reporting back to parents about what they are doing and what their next steps are.
Take a look...
Kia ora Michelle,
ReplyDeleteLove this idea. It is a new create session on DFI I think as I have not come across it before. There are heaps of applications for this I reckon. I enjoyed learning about OzBots! M
Thanks Meryn, I really enjoyed this lesson! I thought this was not just a cool way to present a lesson, but a cool way to introduce app making, and a good way to share learning.
DeleteWow what a cool way to get a basic learning platform ready for students. I can see this as being very useful tool in robotics or technology classes where we need alot of information accesable all at once. Sites are great for hosting but this seems to be more streamlined. Getting students to share their learning through something like this would be an awesome way to connect with whanau!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool idea Michelle :D I remember learning about Ozbots with you at school and I would love to have something as handy as an app to refer back to as I am programming in the future.
ReplyDeleteHow cool!
Let me know if you want to learn how to do this for your class!
